Twisted Metal Black
OK, it's more of a grey colour, but what a great photo - the existing foundations of an old warehouse torn down to make way for a new housing block. What I love about this photo is the organic nature of an inorganic man-made structure. The steel is 20mm diameter from a strip foundation, with about 25mm of concrete cover, the strip foundation has lain about 1 metre below ground level for about 50 years, and the steel has remained vertually as good as new. Exactly what it should do.
