The Finished Product

The above building is a temporary building -it's lifespan is designed for 25 years or less, I understand it was given Planning Permission on that basis, as it dosn't really blend well with it's surroundings. In effect the building is little more then a shed. A steel portal frame with a stretched fabric cover, and inside it's just one large space, sub-divided into public and private areas. During the excavation of the foundations the basements of bomb damaged buildings from world war 2, were uncovered, causing some problems with pouring the mass concrete foundations. The ammount of material that had to be removed before concreting could begin was enormous, leaving barely enough earth to excavate!
