Let them eat cake


so heres' how the cake turned out. Again wih my grandmother recipe, I've had to cut the cake from an 8" square in two, to make it easier to transport to the future sister-in-laws for christmas day!

more pudding goodness

It's now half way though the cooking process. It got off to a bad start too, the belt I used to keep the lid of the tin strapped down, didn't survive more than an hour in the boiling water, but string has done the job. There's been a bit of seepage from around the lid, I do need to ensure it's kept more securely - also I think I may have overfilled the tin. Oh well soon be proved right or wrong - another 4 hours to go!
